1. What does global citizenship mean to you?
My understanding is that to be a part of the global population is very signifi cant for everybody, but especially for me. I think I am a person who is part of this world, and I think a lot about my role in the world. I think we have to start from ourselves before teaching and developing other persons and countries. We have to develop ourselves, then our families and only then our society and our country. First we have to start with the small things, going from grassroots to the central level.
2. In what ways are you a global citizen?
I am not sure, but I think this means that I am a part of the global world. I have an effect on the global level, and the global level has an effect on me. As I said, we have to start with ourselves and our families. For example, we have to adapt to climate change, global warming or social change. So what do we do if we want to keep our globe sustainable? I would say that we should start with ourselves, by asking ourselves what we can do to save our environment. Our basic four human needs are food, clothing, medicine and a place to live.
